We’re delighted to introduce Aldo Del Rio, who joined our team back in August as our new Stores Supervisor. After a couple of months settling in, we thought it was about time to properly introduce him to everyone!
Aldo’s taken on the crucial role of overseeing our new distribution warehouse operations – everything from inventory management to safety compliance. But here’s what really matters: he is a crucial part of the team that ensures our customers get their orders delivered on time.
Bringing Fresh Perspective to Our Distribution Centre
Aldo comes to us with solid experience in distribution and warehouse management. What caught our attention? His sharp eye for detail and track record of streamlining warehouse operations. We knew pretty quickly he was the right fit for what we’re trying to build here.
When we asked what brought him to Industrial Packaging, Aldo was refreshingly straightforward: “I was attracted by the opportunity to be part of a growing business. Industrial Packaging is investing heavily in its Distribution Centre, and I wanted to contribute to this growth, helping IP to scale successfully – it was a great opportunity to bring my experience to bear on the growth strategy, and also to learn more.”
Looking Ahead
What’s got Aldo excited about the role? Quite a bit, actually. “There’s a wide scope in terms of responsibility in this role, and I see an opportunity to optimise our distribution operations and put my own stamp on things,” he told us. “I’m excited to introduce new technologies that will help us deliver on our “On Time, In Full” commitment to our customers.”
And actually we’re excited too. Having someone who sees opportunities rather than obstacles – that’s exactly what we need as we continue growing.
