Reconnecting with long-standing customers and meeting new contacts across the sector was a key highlight of the event. Back in the challenging days of Covid, we all realised how valuable face-to-face communications can be and real-world conversations at the show were invaluable in understanding the current challenges businesses are facing, particularly in highly regulated and fast-evolving industries such as biopharma and life sciences. These discussions offered meaningful insights for ourselves at Industrial Packaging, about current packaging requirements, supply chain considerations, and future priorities.
Innovation was a strong theme throughout the day, with suppliers showcasing new ideas, materials, and solutions designed to meet the growing demands of the sector. From improved performance and compliance to smarter design and enhanced efficiency, it was encouraging to see how innovation continues to support both operational needs and long-term sustainability goals. A key moment for our team was the Irish debut of the new ECOLITE drum from CurTec, which was very well received by attendees. The product generated strong interest as a practical example of how innovative design can reduce material usage while maintaining the high standards required for sensitive and regulated products. The positive response reinforced the growing demand for packaging solutions that deliver both sustainability and reliability.
